Welcome to the website of the Coleshill Hub, located in Coleshill, North Warwickshire. The Hub was originally established in 2012 and is in the Sumner Suite of Coleshill Town Hall. We aim to improve the lives of the people in and around the Coleshill area by providing facilities and services which combat social isolation and the specific issues that are particularly present within our semi-rural location. We aim to promote health and wellbeing, to tackle disadvantage, to encourage the development of a sustainable, cohesive and supportive community.
We have laptops for general use with internet access and run computer classes to give extra training and support, building the skills needed for today’s on-line society.
We work with Partners, such as P3, Guideposts and CAB to offer a wide range of services and offer advice, information and support to residents on several issues including housing, benefits, employment, and council services.
We also offer ongoing support to local groups that we have helped to develop, such as Walking Group, Art Group, Family History Group and our Memory Café. Our groups are a way of combatting isolation and of reinforcing our sense of community.
Facilities include free computer use and Internet access, a printer, scanner and photocopier. There's also the freephone with ten numbers to useful organisations: North Warwickshire Borough Council, The CitizensAdvice Bureau, Step Change Debt Charity, Job Centre Plus, Age UK, Seven Trent Water, NHS 111, New Central Credit Union, Warwickshire County Council and Volunteer Centre North Warwickshire.
Drop into the hub to make use of our facilities. Our volunteers will be on hand to help you.
